India’s largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki has recalled a total of 3,796 units of the Ciaz sedan in the country. The company will organize a service campaign to rectify a suspected fault and replace the few sections of Clutch operation system of Ciaz manual version. The cars recalled were manufactured till 7th of November, 2014.
The service campaign has been organized in the interest of customers, and Maruti Suzuki India’s dealers have already started contacting owners of the impacted cars. Companies are organizing Service Campaigns globally to rectify faults that may cause inconvenience to consumers.
The replacement and rectification of the Ciaz sedan will be done free of cost for the consumers. Customers can also check whether their cars come under recall scanner on the company’s official website- www.marutisuzuki.com. The Ciaz buyers are requested to add chassis number (MA3 followed by 14 digit alpha-numeric number) on the computer screen. The chassis number is embossed on the vehicle ID plate. Adding to it, customers can also reach to their nearest Maruti Suzuki’s dealerships to find out whether their cars come under recall scanner.
