Kia India has introduced the Model Year 2026 update for the Kia Sonet, expanding the compact SUV’s automatic transmission line-up with more accessible variants. With this update, the brand has introduced a diesel six-speed automatic and a turbo petrol seven-speed dual-clutch transmission at prices below Rs. 10 lakh, ex-showroom.
The 1.5-litre diesel engine paired with a six-speed automatic gearbox is now offered in HTE(O), HTK(O), HTK+, and HTK+(O) trims, with prices starting from Rs. 9.77 lakh, ex-showroom. Meanwhile, the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine with the seven-speed DCT gearbox is available in HTK(O) and HTK+(O) variants, with prices beginning at Rs. 9.89 lakh, ex-showroom.
In terms of features, the Sonet continues to offer 15 standard safety features, Level 1 ADAS with 10 driver assistance functions, and over 70 connected car features. Kia has also introduced a new Magma Red exterior colour option.
