      The much awaited Hyundai Santro has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 3.90 lakhs. The hatchback is available in five variants – D-Lite, Era, Magna, Sportz and Asta. The 2018 Santro is powered by a 1.1-litre, four-cylinder engine and can be had in petrol/CNG and AMT options. The engine comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission as standard with AMT options in Magna and Sportz variants. Here below are the variant-wise feature list -

      Santro D-Lite

      The entry-level D-lite gets a modest set of features in the form of dual tone beige and black interior, one-litre bottle holder at the front and the rear door, room lamp and champagne-gold interior colour garnish. The base variant also gets an electric power steering, remote open for fuel lid and tailgate. Safety features like driver airbag and ABS with EBD is standard along with warning and indicators for door ajar, gear shift, low fuel and driver side seat belt.       Santro Era

      Moving one trim higher to the Era variant which is priced at Rs 4,24,900 additionally offers body coloured bumpers, front power windows and AC system with rear AC vents. The Era variant additionally offers a power outlet in addition to all the features from the lower D-Lite variant. The Era variant is priced at Rs 4,24,900.

      Santro Magna

      The mid-level variant in the Santro product-line is available in Petrol and CNG options. This variant can also be had with an AMT option and it additionally gets features like - central locking, day and night IRVM, chrome surround on grille and body coloured door handles and ORVMs. Magna variant onwards, Hyundai has also included the champagne gold coloured inside door handles, ticket holder and rear power windows. In addition to all the features from the Magna variant, the Sportz additionally offers front fog lamps, rear defogger, keyless entry, R14 wheel covers and turn indicators on ORVMs. The trim additionally offers a 17.64cm touchscreen system and smartphone connectivity with android auto, Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink. The AC system gets the eco coating technology while the ORVMs are electrically adjustable. The petrol manual trim is priced at Rs 4,99,900, the AMT version is available for Rs 5,46,900 and the CNG trim is available for 5,64,900.

      Santro Asta

      The top spec Asta variant is limited to a manual transmission with a petrol engine. However, the Asta variant additionally offers the park assist system which includes rear parking sensors and rear camera with display. The trim additionally offers a passenger airbag along with front seat belt pre-tensioner with load limiter, speed sensing door locks and impact sensing door unlock. The top spec Asta variant is available for Rs 5,45,900.
