As part of Jaguar Land Rover’s constant efforts to offer new upgrades to potential customers, the premium brand has launched the new 2017 Range Rover Evoque range which is priced from Rs 49.10-67.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). For now, the 2017 Range Rover Evoque is available with a new Ingenium 2.0-litre diesel engine. Starting January 2017, interested customers can also opt for a 2.0-litre Si4 petrol engine.
The new 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel engine which is developed by JLR, weighs around 20 kilograms lower than the previous generation engine. The new diesel engine in the 2017 Evoque generates around 175bhp of power and 430Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission that powers all four wheels. As for the exterior, the new Range Rover Evoque gets LED headlamps with distinctive signature DRLs. The headlights get adaptive function enables light beams to be automatically aligned with steering inputs and follow curves in the road. Inside, its gets Oxford leather seats, Meridian surround sound system, powered tailgate and surround camera. This time around the automaker has introduced a 10-inch touchscreen while an 8-inch touchscreen is offered as standard on the HSE and HSE Dynamic models.
Jaguar Land Rover has also launched the Range Rover Evoque HSE Dynamic Ember Edition which is priced at Rs 67.90 lakh. It gets the same mechanical upgrades as the 2017 Range rover Evoque, however to set it apart from the standard model, it gets firenze red roof which contrasts the santorini Black colour on the rest of the vehicle. As for the interior, it gets ebony black seats with contrasting pimento red stitching.
