Nissan has released a teaser image of this model on its social media channels. The teaser image says ‘It can sense rain. Coming soon’. This makes us believe that rain sensing wipers is one of the features the 2017 Micra will come with. Other features like touchscreen infotainment system and parking cameras might also be offered with the updated version.

Being a facelift, the Micra would get a few cosmetic changes too. The fascia could see some minor enhancements like a new bumper and grille. On the inside, expect new upholstery to improve the overall experience. In terms of mechanicals, the 2017 Micra will continue to get the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. Both these motors are mated a five-speed manual gearbox. The petrol models also comes with a CVT unit. We’re expecting a marginal increase in price over the current models.
