Jeep is all set to upgrade the current Grand Cherokee SRT, and the new car will cost USD 67,790 (Rs 45.11 lakh).

2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT revealed

The brand has tweaked the styling of the vehicle in a bid to keep things fresh until the new car rolls in. Now while this update job is actually a preview of the upgrades in store for the Grand Cherokee facelift, the highlights include a new design for the nose that sports a new grille, reworked fog lamps, and larger air dams. Jeep’s distinctive seven slot grille on this new version looks subdued thanks to the designers opting for a black graphic that joins the dark-bordered head lamps.

However, Jeep has left the engine untouched, and so the 6.4-litre Hemi V8 that makes all of 470bhp continues to power this beast. Reports claim that the market will also get a Hellcat edition, called Trackhawk, and it will be powered by a retuned version of the SRT’s Hemi V8 motor that’s expected to produce 707bhp!

Stay tuned to CarTrade for more on this in the months to come.
