Toyota Innova has been a favorite MPV amongst the private and commercial vehicle users in the country. The MUV's popularity is well known for all the right reasons - It ranks better against its competitors in terms of ample space and good safety parameters. Toyota Innova is currently available in 7 seater and 8 seater variants. Sources from IAB had also hinted that the diesel version may also be launched with an automatic transmission. Toyota has not given a confirm date for launch of the new Innova, but it is speculated that the MUV may be launched sometime in the year 2016.
As seen on the rendered Toyota Innova image, the exterior front section of this MUV may sport a bigger grill that is well complimented with stylish chrome lined fog lamps. To give it a premium look the car may also received contemporary body graphics. The sporty side molding further enhances it look. The rear spoiler has received a new dazzling styling. The latest version also carries the 'Z' grade badge that defines premium styling and unparalleled luxury. The base model of Innova is priced at about Rs. 9,42,736, whereas the top end variant may cost about Rs. 14,92,206. Prices are based on Ex-showroom Delhi.
The interiors are expected to carry the existing pattern that is spacious, comfortable and carries a dash of elegance with leather trimmed classy dual tone seats. The dashboard is adorned with a new panel that sports attractive wood and silver finish. Moreover, a stylish wood finish gear knob is well complimented by chrome finished parking brake lever that adds to the upmarket feel. The armrest panel has a stylish appeal owing to a neat wood finish.
The current version of Toyota Innova had been launched a while ago loaded with interesting features. The current version of Toyota Innova is available in two engine variants - BS III, 2494cc, 2KD-FTV, Diesel with Turbocharger, 4 in-line cylinder and BS IV, 2494cc, 2KD-FTV, Diesel with Intercooler Turbocharger, 4 in-line cylinder variant. Superior fuel efficiency and better performance figures are attained with the innovative common rail technology. The vehicle comes with better ground clearance that looks lower yet tackles rough tricky surfaces with ease.
