Just ahead of its official launch, sources have managed to spot an un-camouflaged 2016 model of Skoda Superb. The new third generation model is expected to launch sometime early next year. As of now, it could not be ascertained if the one spotted was petrol or a diesel version owing to its minimal badging trend.
The 2016 Skoda Superb is expected to be offered in petrol as well as diesel engine options in India. The petrol version is likely to be powered by 1.8-litre engine that generates about 158bhp of power and 250Nm of torque, while the diesel gets a 2.0-litre engine that generates about 138bhp of power and 320Nm of torque. The upcoming model shall only be offered with seven-speed DSG transmission.
Inside, the 2016 Skoda Superb shall get touchscreen infotainment system, climate control, full leather package and electric adjustable driver’s seat along with other set of interesting set of features. The pricing aspect could not be immediately known for now and shall only be revealed at the time of its launch.
