Guests attending the Sentul International Circuit where in for a pleasant surprise when Honda announced the launch of 2016 CBR 150R in the presence of popular racers from Repsol Honda namely Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez. The company has reportedly offered around two variants in price ranging – IDR 32.9 million (INR 1.65 lakh) to IDR 33.3 million (INR 1.68 lakh) for the top-end with Repsol Honda MotoGP graphics.
The bike continues to be powered by 150 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder fuel-injected engine that has reportedly been angled forward at 40 degrees improved performance. Mated to 6-speed gearbox, the bike generates about 18.28bhp of power and 12.66Nm of torque. It has been offered in three color options namely - Revolution White, Racing Red and Nitro Black.
As part of fresh upgrades, the new 2016 Honda CBR comes with full LED twin headlamps, sharper front fairing, new split seat arrangement featuring high-set pillion seat, new exhaust, new foot peg, fully-digital instrument console and LED turn indicators. The bike also gets a slightly longer 13mm swingarm than the older model to offer more spottiness to the motorcycle.
