The new Ford EcoSport has finally charms the UK audience with its new avatar. With a considerable improvement in driving dynamics and appealing visual upgrades, the new trim indeed looks good. One noticicable change would be the absence of a rear mounted spare wheel. In India, the vehicle is expected to up for grabs sometime next year.
The new Ford Ecosport in UK is available in petrol as well as diesel engine options. The petrol trim gets a 1.5 Litre engine whereas the diesel trim gets a 1.5-litre TDCi engine. The only difference in engine is slightly lower power output of about 95PS in UK trim as against 100PS generated by the Indian variant. For safety, the vehicle gets ESP (Electronic Stability Programme) and electronic power assisted steering feature.
Inside, the vehicle gets restyled centre console gets lowered charcoal black instrument panel. The four inch colour display with Ford In-Sync system takes care of entertainment via voice commands for its occupants. The company has also announced Winter Pack that offers a heated windshield, mirrors and front seats and floor-level rear seat ventilation.
