The Cruze sedan from Chevrolet has found a handful takers among the younger lot. This time around in order to reclaim its lost share in the market, the company has introduced a new Cruze facelift in the country with interesting upgrades at a starting price of Rs 14.68 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi). On the design aspect the vehicle gets new LED DRLs, chrome on front grill and fog lamp housings. The vehicle additionally gets rear lip spoiler and projector foglamps.
The 2016 Chevrolet Cruze continues to be powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that generates about 164 bhp of power and 380 Nm of torque. Apart from 6-speed manual gearbox the vehicle would also be offered in automatic transmission option. As per ARAI fuel efficiency figures the manual trim returns about 17.9, while the automatic variant returns about 14.81 kmpl.
In terms of features, the new 2016 Chevrolet Cruze comes with 7" MyLink touchscreen infotainment system, climate control with new touch controls and SIRI eyes-free compatibility. The vehicle also comes with support for Bluetooth telephony and audio streaming. The new Cruze also comes with multi-function steering wheel and a reversing camera. The prices for 2016 Cruze range is - LT (MT) for Rs. 14.68, LTZ (MT) for Rs. 16.75 and LTZ (AT) for Rs. 17.81 (All prices, Ex-showroom Delhi).
