British carmaker Jaguar-Land Rover has brought in a waft of luxury at the Auto Expo 2016 with the unveiling of two of its newest cars sold globally. In fact, the brand has introduced the all-new XE luxury sedan and the F-Pace crossover for the Indian audience at the biennial automotive event.
Starting with the XE, this new model arrived globally in 2014 globally and marked Jaguar’s entry into the entry-level luxury sedan segment. It is underpinned by an aluminium architecture and a new engine family called Ingenium which includes both petrol and diesel engines, the XE promises a lot. Here in India, the XE has been priced at Rs 39.09 lakh ex-showroom Delhi.
The F-Pace, on the other hand, represents a bold new move for Jaguar. The British marquee has finally stepped into the lucrative premium SUV segment with this new model. Earlier shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the F-Pace is already on sale in certain bits of Europe and is expected to launch in India later this year. When launched, it will compete with the Porsche Cayenne, the Range Rover Sport and the BMW X6.
