Unveiled at the 2014 New York Auto Show, the Volkswagen Jetta facelift is set to launch in the Indian car market on February 17th, 2015. The sedan gets changes to both exteriors and interiors, while the overall efficiency has been enhanced. VW has reduced the air drag and added new tires to sedan that helps in improving rolling resistance.
The front fascia of the sedan features new radiator grille with three cross fins, optional Bi-Xenon headlamps with Adaptive front-lighting system and new bumper. Uniquely designed Bi-Xenon headlamps feature daytime running lamps, which is formed by 15 LEDs arranged in an L-shaped string alongside and beneath the xenon modules. Adding to it, the company has also added chrome elements between the LED daytime running lights and the xenons. At the rear, the 2015 Jetta has new trunk-lid, tail lamps and bumper. There is an aerodynamic trailing edge on the trunk-lid, while the integrated spoiler extends into the rear fenders. New LED taillamps has bright strip.
Inside the cabin, the sedan largely remains the same. The company has made few changes to give it a refreshing look. It gets new instrument panel, new steering, piano black accents on the centre console and gear shift lever, dual-zone climatronic control and new upholstery.

The 2015 Volkswagen Jetta will continue to be powered by the same 1.4-litre petrol and 2.0-litre diesel engines. The diesel engine is tuned to offer 10bhp more power, while the fuel efficiency has been increased to 19.13kmpl from current 17.85kmpl.
