Czech carmaker Skoda has a new reason to cheer, its all new 2015 Fabia has managed to impress the Euro NCAP authorities for its crash safety measures and has came out with a 5-Star rating. Of the 15 cars that were tested, the 2015 Skoda Fabia was the only one to come out scoring a full five stars. The hatchback scored high across all categories like - Passenger protection for adults, child safety, safety assistance systems and pedestrian protection. Apart from this, the vehicle also gets maximum protection points for infants aged up to 18 months. Moreover, it is said that the vehicle has also received a strong rating as it is capable of keeping children aged up to 3 years safe.

The safety features just does not end here, the 2015 Fabia also gets safety features like - hill hold function, driver fatigue recognition, speed limiter and tyre pressure monitoring system. Speaking more on this marvelous feat, Dr. Frank Welsch, ŠKODA Board Member for Technical Development said, “With innovative safety systems and a comprehensive safety package, our new model is setting standards in its segment. Receiving the award for being the safest small car in the Euro NCAP crash tests confirms this once again.”

The new generation model has been winning over customers owing to features like expressive design, Eco-friendliness, technology and increased safety and comfort. The hatchback also gets front assistant with integrated City Emergency Brake function that comes as standard from SE specification. The 2015 Fabia is loaded with Six airbags – front, side and head – that protects passengers in combination with five three-point seat belts. A high-strength body and optimized crumple zones indeed form the basis of increased passive safety.
