French carmaker Renault steadily shot to fame in the Indian market with the Duster compact SUV. Recently, when news has been doing rounds that Renault shall halt the production of Scala sedan and Pulse hatchback, the company surprised the market with the launch announcement for the new 2015 Renault Pulse. The new trim has been launched for a lucrative price tag of about Rs. 5.03 Lakhs (Ex-showroom Delhi).
At the launch event, the Mr. Sumit Sawhney, Country CEO and Managing Director, Renault India Operations, said, “Pulse is an important part of our product portfolio and we have made several product enhancements to make the 2015 Pulse even more attractive and exciting for customers. We have topped this with competitive pricing backed with an attractive finance option which adds to its value proposition, making it one of the strongest offerings in the premium hatchback segment.”
The 2015 Renault Pulse is available in diesel as well as petrol trims. The diesel version is powered by 1.5 litre K9K dCi engine, whereas the petrol trim is powered by 1.2 litre XH5 engine. The interior gets dual dual tone dashboard with a piano black finish on the center fascia. The driver seat is height adjustable and the steering controls have received mounted controls. The vehicle also gets automatic headlamps. For safety, the vehicle comes laden with ABS+EBD, dual airbags and crash sensor. The new trim features engine start and stop button, auto folding outside rear view mirrors and an integrated 2 DIN music system with Bluetooth and USB for entertainment.
