Ultra luxury carmaker, Porsche has silently introduced the 2015 Cayenne SUV in the Indian car market. Available in four variants, the Cayenne SUV is now priced at Rs. 1.02 crores (ex-showroom, Maharashtra). The vehicle gets subtle changes to both exteriors and interiors.
Talking about exterior changes, the 2015 Cayenne gets restyled headlamps and taillamps which share styling cues with the new Macan. The newly designed bonnet, bumper airdam and grille are also on offer. The headlamps feature integrated four-point LED daytime running lights. At the rear, the vehicle gets slightly tweaked registration plate enclosure, boot handle, and tail lamps. It also gets new exhaust pipes.
Inside the cabin, the updated Cayenne gets new steering wheel with paddle shifts. The other additions include an air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management, separate zone automatic climate control, Porsche Active Suspension Management. Also on offer is a panoramic sunroof, while the rear seat ventilation system comes as an optional feature.
Under the hood is the 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine that is capable of producing a top power output of 245bhp and a peak torque of 550Nm. This model accelerates to 100kmph from zero in just 7.6 seconds. The Cayenne S Diesel is propelled by a 4.2-litre V8 motor that produces 385bhp and 850Nm of massive torque. It does 0-100kmph in mere 5.4 seconds before hitting a top speed of 252kmph.
The all-new 3.6-litre V6 bi-turbo engine that powers the Cayenne S is capable of producing 420bhp and 550Nm of torque. The Cayenne Turbo is powered by a 4.8-litre bi-turbo V8 engine producing 530bhp and 750Nm of torque.
