Hyundai, the South Korean automaker, will finally launch the much-awaited Verna facelift in the Indian car market today. The Verna has always been among the top selling cars for Hyundai in India, but the vehicle seriously needed a makeover due to rising competition. The introduction of new Honda City and Maruti Ciaz has affected the sales of the Verna saloon, and the maker is now aiming to regain its lost market by introducing the updated Verna. Hyundai dealers have already started taking pre-orders for the sedan at a token amount of Rs. 10,000.
