Ducati, the famous Italian motorcycle manufacturer, did fantastically well to paint the entire Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli red at the World Ducati Festival. Along with this, the event saw the introduction of the 2015 Ducati Hypermotard SP, an upcoming superbike that is eagerly awaited in the international market.

Sources claim that the Italian firm is pretty confident about the new colour of the Hypermotard SP and feel that the Corse-inspired gives it inspired “new racy red-white colour scheme gives the Hypermotard SP a harder-hitting look.” The occasion was made even more special as the curtains were taken off by Troy Bayliss, three-time World Superbikes Champ (2001, 2006, 2008) along with Carlos Checa, who was the WSBK Champ in 2011.

The 2015 Ducati Hypermotard SP is powered by an 821-cc Testastretta engine that has the ability to generate a colossal output of 110 bhp. There are three selectable power modes available in the Hypermotard SP, namely Race, Wet and Sport. The power level generated by Race and Sport is 110 bhp while the Wet mode turns the engine down to only 75 bhp.

The safety features are not where it ends for Ducati Hypermotard SP as it comes with a number of other top class attributes. There is a fully adjustable 50mm Marzocchi USD fork, 17-inch Marchesini 3-spoke forged aluminium wheels, Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP tyres and fully adjustable Ohlins monoshock. In addition, the front mudguard and engine are covered by carbon fibre, which help the bike to weigh only 171 kg.

New Ducati Hypermotard SP will enter international markets from the month of September in 2015. The price is expected to remain the same as previous model as the new Hypermotard SP is going to cost around $14995 (roughly INR 9.03 lakh).
