The INTERMOT show in Cologne in Germany, scheduled from October 1st to 5th, will be a huge event for BMW-lovers around the world. This brand will launch the 2015 version of the S1000RR here on this occasion. This does not come as a surprise for followers of BMW as the German bike manufacturer has a history of introducing a number of its path-breaking products at this show. The spy shots were coming in large numbers in the last couple of months for this new model from BMW. From those spy shots, it was revealed that the bike will feature some cosmetic changes, as well apart from a jolt in the power output. Some other speculations are still persistent about the bike for which, sure news have not yet been received. For example, it is expected that the new model will be provided with a semi-active suspension to go easy on rough roads. Additionally, the Bosch-developed cornering ABS system will also be introduced in the new model. Incidentally, this ABS system has found a place in the flagship model BMW HP4.

BMW Motorrad has also declared that it is trying to make five launches in the calendar year of 2015, out of which, three will be showcased in Cologne. The other two models will be launched during the EICMA show, which is scheduled for next year in Milan. It is expected that these bikes will be the S1000XR adventure tourer model, which will be pitted against the Ducati Multistrada and 2015 BMW R1200GS. Also, there are some rumours about the global launch of the bike developed jointly by the Indian manufacturing giant TVS and BMW Motorrad. However, no sure news has been received regarding this aspect. It will only be clear during the first week of October about the truth of this news.
