The Italian specialist for exhaust systems, Arrow Special Parts, has introduced a wide array of exhaust systems for the BMW S1000RR 2015 edition. The new collection includes four ‘Competition’ full-exhaust systems and nine slip-on silencers, which bolsters the performance on the one hand; while on the other, the exhaust note is made sweeter for the superbike.
The option of carbon fibre, titanium or stainless steel end cans is also offered by Arrow on the exhaust systems. Apart from these options, Arrow also gives carbon-end caps as well as DBkiller. The traditional X-Kone killer has been featured in the new slip-on silencer patterns. Race-tech kits have also been provided, which get optional aluminium, carbon fibre end can as well as titanium for the GP2 silencers. The Competition systems have been provided with shorter underbelly exhaust patterns and have been provided with titanium link pipe, manifold and the end can.
BMW had recently announced that they would not launched a HP4 variant of the S1000RR this year, bike enthusiasts will have to satisfy themselves with such after-market modifications such as this exhaust pattern. The power figures are improved on one hand, while on the other; the weight of the motorbike is considerably reduced. India has seen Arrow exhaust systems only in Triumph models. It is expected that more manufacturers will also launch the Arrow exhaust systems soon in the country.
