The new Bajaj Avenger facelift has finally been launched in India. One of leading bikemakers in the country, Bajaj Auto has launched three new Avenger models – Street 150 for Rs 75,000, while the Street 220 and Cruise 220 have been launched for Rs 84,000 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The Cruise trim shares some resemblance with the older model, but in terms of fresh upgrades, it gets a new paint finish, new badge and added graphics.
The Street on the other hand, gets an all black shade on the 220cc and 150cc engine options. The Bajaj Avenger Street gets all new black alloys along with black engine and exhaust. The bikes also get a new digital instrument cluster. The 150 Avenger trim is powered by 150cc, single-cylinder engine that generates about 14bhp of power and 12.5nm of torque. The 220 trims are powered by 220cc four-stroke, single cylinder, oil-cooled engine that generates about 18.5bhp of power and 17.5Nm of torque output.
In terms of dynamics, the Street 150 gets similar dynamics as seen on the Street 220. The 220 Cruise if offered in shade of Divine Black, while the 220 Street and 150 Street is offered in Matt Black and Midnight Blue respectively.
