The German automajor Volkswagen has now officially revealed the updated Polo, ahead of its debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The updated version will make its way to India as well by mid 2014.
At the first glance, the updated Polo looks quite similar to its predecessor, but the car has received several design changes both inside and out.The 2014 Polo gets new headlamps with LED treatment, revised front bumper and new chrome strip running across the grille. The car has gone through some positive changes at the rear as well, making it look better than before. The rear receives revised tail lights and altered bumper.
There are enough changes made to the interiors as well, making the car look more up-market than before. The updated Polo gets new centre console, new steering wheel and redesigned instruments.
Volkswagen will sell the updated Polo with multiple engine options, however, in India the car will continue to come with the existing engine options- 1.2-litre TSI, 1.2-litre GT TSI, 1.2-litre diesel and 1.6-litre GT TDI.
