      2014 Skoda Superb facelift teased, to debut at 2014 Auto Expo

      The 2014 Indian Auto Expo is around the corner, and the carmakers are doing their final preparations to make this a remarkable one. The Czech Republic carmaker Skoda's Indian arm will also unveil a couple of products at the event. Skoda India will showcase the facelift version of its flagship models- Superb sedan and Yeti SUV. Its premium sedan Superb is expected to be launched at the event, while the deliveries are expected to start soon after.

      To create some buzz about the cars in the market, Skoda India has started teasing the refreshed Superb on its social media handles including Facebook and Twitter. Media reports suggest that the company could also unveil the prices of the new Superb at the event.
       
      The Superb sedan gets changes both inside and out. The front fascia of the vehicle features a new headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights and refreshed grille. The front bumper and fog lights gets some minor tweaks as well. Talking about the rear profile, this premium sedan now features redesigned tail lamps with LED stop lights, while the registration plate has been placed on the bootlid. 
       
      The company has only teased the exterior images of Superb, however, we expect it to get some subtle changes inside the cabin as well. There will be no mechanical changes made to the car, it will retain both the 1.8-litre TSI petrol and 2.0-litre TDI diesel mill, capable of churning out a maximum power output of 157.8bhp and 138.1bhp, respectively.
