Mahindra & Mahindra is an automaker known for organising regular events wherein it interacts with its customers. Only recently, the firm organised an event with Maxxis tyres called the 2014 Mahindra Great Escape and it was held in Sakleshpur, Karnataka, a location home to tea garden, hills, streams and dense forests. This event, which saw the participation of a large number of Mahindra & Mahindra vehicles, was divided into two days and was organised in the Kadamane Estate, which is home to 13000 acre property. Around 70 vehicles took part on the first day and a free ride was organised on a stretch of 20 km trail. This activity was pre-planned by Mahindra Adventure team and proved to be a huge ensemble of Thar, Scoprio, Invader, Bolero and Classic models.

Drivers participating on the first day drove through a gravel stretch that surrounded tea gardens and a few 4WD units pushed into 2-high (systems), following up with other vehicles on the road. Initially, there was a flowing stream that became an obstacle for everyone and several drivers could not wade through the sludge. There were relentless attempts by many drivers to go through but the sludge turned out to be a tough nut to crack. Since this was a time taking process, many drivers had to wait behind 4x4 models, which gave everyone a chance to have a lot of fun.

The entire two day event saw many drivers battle it out through sluggish terrains, which were almost impossible to conquer. Be it the slipperiness of terrains or the hugeness of vehicles, nothing was easy for the drivers. However, within the entire perceived ordeal, lay an unquestionable degree of amazing fun that everyone experienced while going through the paces in this terribly tough terrain. At the end of the entire event, there were a few drivers who proved to be better than others and won the accolades.
