      2013 Qatar Motor Show opens to public from January 29

      The 2013 Qatar Motor Show opens to global automobile loving audience on January 29, 2013 and will keep them enchanted with a number of breathtaking products from top global auto majors for five days, till February 2. The Qatar auto salon promises to showcase several exciting new concepts, facelifts and upcoming models, and is scheduled to be organised at the Doha Exhibition Centre.

      This year's Qatar Motor Show is jointly hosted by the Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA), GL Events and q.media Events. A press conference was held recently by the organisers at W Hotel in Doha, in order to share details about the world class event with the automobile industry.

      Informing specific details about the 2013 Qatar Motor Show, Ammar Al Saadi, Head of Exhibitions Organizing (Acting), Qatar Tourism Authority, was quoted as saying, “Qatar Tourism Authority have sought to put our stamp on this spectacular event as it reflects Qatar's growing stature in the world, due in part to the nation’s explosive economic growth in the past 10 years as the country has successfully developed its vast natural resources in gas and oil and exported these to markets around the world.”

      He further added, “Each year the Qatar Motor Show has put the country firmly on the global automotive industry map by showcasing the newest models and the latest industry developments, many for the first time ever, in Qatar. We have a sensational line-up this year of international car brands – some of which will be world premieres - alongside interesting side events taking place concurrently with the motor show.”

      The 2013 Qatar Motor Show is the region’s biggest automotive event and will display models from all across the globe, ranging from luxury sedans, Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) to super sports cars.
