Commenting on this new exercise,  Ravi Bhatia, Head, Business Development for Fiat Group Automobiles India Private Limited said, “Fiat has exhilarating plans for this festival season. As per a year end festival that will be held in various Nissan dealerships across the country, known as the 'Nissan Fest', the Nissan Micra petrol XE variant can be bought at a starting price of Rs. 3.99 lakhs. The Nissan Sunny XE can be purchased at an attractive price of Rs. 5.79 lakhs (after Corporate Discount). An exchange bonus of Rs. 50,000 is also available on Nissan Sunny.

Not to be left behind, Tata Motors has launched a special edition of the Nano, in CX and LX variants. Five new accessories will be available, which includes alloy wheels, two glove boxes on different sides of the dashboard, festive stickers, body graphics and a stereo system with USB, AUX and Ipod connectivity. In fact, the freebies available in the car are worth Rs. 25,000.

The Special Edition also has a 4 year or 60,000 km warranty, along with exchange bonus of Rs. 10,000 for four wheelers and Rs. 5,000 for two wheelers. Among other brands, special offers are also available on certain Ford India vehicles, up to 31st December 2012. One can save up to Rs. 72,000 on the Ford Fiesta, Rs. 25,500 on the new Ford Figo, Rs. 81,000 on the Endeavour and up to Rs. 34,500 on the Ford Fiesta Classic. This offer stands valid for the whole December month.

As is apparent, car manufacturers are making huge attempts to woo buyers this festive season. This would definitely promote intense competition among various brands. However, certain deals maybe subject to the discretion of individual dealerships.
