      1st and 2nd position in SJOBA Thunderbolt Sub Himalayan Rally grabbed by Tata Motors

      Full Throttle team of Tata Motors has emerged victorious in the SJOBA Thunderbolt Sub Himalayan Rally 2012. This honour of Tata Motors is achieved because of Tata Sumo Grande, which grabbed first place at the event. The car was driven by Mr. Sunish Kumar and co-driver Mr. Dhiraj Arora. In addition, the second place is acquired by recently unwrapped Tata Sumo Gold, which was driven by Mr. Ganesh Moorthy and co-driver Mr. T. Nagrajan.

      The 25th event of SJOBA Rally started from St. Johns School, Chandigarh on 24th March, 2012. Taking place From Chandigarh, the rally passed through adventurous and challenging route that covered unmetalled surfaces, fast tarmacs with winding curves and thrilling hilly terrain in Himachal Pradesh and Haryana. Making their way through Gumma, Kamayana, Baldeyan, Theog, Chakki Ka Mor, Tiyali, Barog, Kelti, Kiarighat, Kandaghat, Bhojnagar, the vehicles were returned to Chandigarh on 25th March, 2012.

      During this year, this victory by Tata Motors is not for the first time, as the team also won the 10th edition of Desert Storm 2012 Rally, India’s one of the toughest and longest off-road events.
