Morris Garages displayed the MG5 Estate at the Auto Expo 2023.

Variants:

The Halol-based automobile brand has not announced the variant options of the 5 Estate for the Indian market. Meanwhile, it is internationally offered in the Standard and Long Range guise.

Feature list (mention both interior and exterior features, along with seating capacity and colours):

Design-wise, the MG 5 Estate gets a blanked-out grille with a charging port below it, black vertical slats for the air dam with triangular inserts on either side, sweptback headlamps, dual-tone alloy wheels, roof rails, body-coloured cladding, LED tail lights, a boot-lid mounted number plate holder, and rear wiper and washer.

The interiors of the model features a 360-degree camera, ADAS, a large touchscreen infotainment system, an engine start-stop button, a digital instrument console, a three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel, and leather upholstery.

Engine, performance and specifications:

MG offers the 5 Estate in two versions including Standard and Long Range. The former, which returns a range of 320km on a single charge, develops 174bhp and 280Nm from a 50.3kWh battery pack. The Long Range version, on the other hand, produces 156bhp and 280Nm, with a WLTP-certified range of 400km.

Safety:

An NCAP crash test is yet to be undertaken for the MG5 Estate.

Competition:

The 5 Estate does not have any direct rivals.
