The Mercedes-Benz GLC with EQ technology is yet to launch in India.

Features

The Mercedes-Benz GLC EV gets high-tech pixel graphics in the grille with 942 LED backlights and optional animations.

The interior is now all vegan, certified by the Vegan Society (optional package).

The GLC EV also gets ambient lights and face ID authentication.

Powertrain

The Mercedes-Benz GLC EV is underpinned by an 800-volt platform based on the new electric architecture, designed for high performance and rapid charging.

The eSUV is also powered by a 94kWh lithium-ion battery pack, with individual cells having silicon oxide + graphite anodes.

This battery powers a 360kW 4MATIC motor, tuned for a 210kmph top speed. Claimed range stands at 713km. Charge rate stands at 330kW (DC), providing a 330km range in 10 minutes.

The presence of a gearbox is rare in EVs, and the GLC EV has a two-speed rear gearbox, and a disconnect unit at the front. The PMS motor’s efficiency (battery to wheel) is rated at 93 per cent.

Specifications

The GLC EV gets a 39.91-inch MBUX Hyperscreen, or a similarly sized tri-cluster MBUX Superscreen. There’s also a sky control panoramic sunroof with 162 illuminated stars.

The GLC EV also gets ambient lights with customisable motifs, Dolby Atmos x Burmester 4D surround sound, MBUX Gen 4 AI infotainment, and OTA updates.

Comfort features include AIRMATIC air suspension with 4.5-degree rear-axle steering (optional), 570-litre boot, and a 128-litre frunk. The GLC EV can also tow 2.4 tonnes.
