Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 63

Model launch date:

The Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 63 was launched in India on 27 June, 2025.

Feature list:

Compared to the previous model, the 2025 AMG GT 63 has a larger footprint, measuring 182mm longer, 45mm wider and 66mm taller, with a wheelbase that is 70mm longer. It also gets Active Ride Control suspension and rear axle steering (up to 2.5 degrees) as standard. The new GT 63's design highlights include a long bonnet, sleeker LED headlights, and a new bumper design. The door handles sit flush whereas the retractable rear spoiler automatically deploys at high speeds.

The cabin of the GT 63 boast a 12.3-inch driver's display and an 11.6-inch touchscreen in portrait orientation. It also features Nappa leather upholstery, a wireless charger, a Burmester sound system, ambient lighting with 64 colours and dual-zone climate control.

Engine, performance, and specifications:

The 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine paired with a nine-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission sends power to all four wheels via the 4Matic+ all-wheel-drive system. While it puts out 577bhp and 800Nm in the GT 63, AMG has tuned the same to make 603bhp and 850Nm in the GT 63 Pro variant. The GT 63 accelerates from zero to 100kmph in 3.2 seconds, while the GT 63 Pro does it slightly quicker at 3.1 seconds. The Pro also boasts a higher top speed of 317kmph.

Safety:

Mercedes has equipped the AMG GT 63 with multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control and ESP, and 360-degree camera amongst other safety features.

Competition:

The Mercedes-AMG GT 63 rivals the Porsche 911 Turbo S in India.
