Whats Good

Space... is what I like best in this car. When you're inside, you're certainly never claustrophobic. The car is literally maintenance-free and isn't demanding at all. It can rush, it can zip up the mountains, it can take on off-roading that isn't severe, and it can carry more load than you can imagine. I love the way the boot of this hatch-back always has space for more and more stuff... and you're left with a surprised look every time. Manoeuvrability is another feature that can fill the heart of any Wagon-R driver with pure unadulterated joy. You can get into cramped parking lots, find a lovely spot that moves ahead even in traffic jam, and the car is yet big enough to carry three passengers in the rear seat with ease. The AC has gone on since 2001 without whining for a repairman, the engine is still pristine, the body too retains its shine despite scratch marks by naughty boys!

What Can Improve

It is time that even the base model of Wagon R gets a power steering and power windows... and the reason is simple: these are no longer little add-ons to start a gonadal giggle in customers and make them pay more. These are necessities that help the people inside the car drive it more confidently and with more safety. The pick-up is not what dream pick-ups are made of... but then in city driving there is no need to really go vrooming ahead of cantankerous auto-rickshaws, right? Aha! It is about time that the company thought of adding the charging kit and the audio player without wanting people to go for a higher version. So what I am trying to say is that car manufacturers shouldn't be so obsessed about creating too many categories with cosmetic differences... have less variations and I'm sure they'll sell more.

My Wagon R has been with me for years / And I still drive it without any fears!

Dependable family car best suited for city driving

Reliability, quiet engine, decent pick up, decent mileage, excellent service.
What Can Improve
More powerful engine, better highway performance, true 3 seating capacity in second row. Wider tyres for better grip. Plastics quality even for its price.

Good steering and maneuvering, almost silent engine, good brakes,economical as compared to competitors like Santro and I 10,
What Can Improve
The steering may be made more responsive and light, the pick up with ac on and four occupants is poor esp. running on CNG, AC should have an auto cut on blower speed one, a little modification would have done away with the front A pillars to improve visibility. Rear wiper is needed even in LXI version for rainy days. Slightly wider tyres would give a better grip on highways

Whats Good
I have a scorpio from last 7 yrs, but after getting wagon r city travelling became very easy cost wise and parking .in Scorpio it cost approxmately RS 700were as RS 250 in wagon r so my travelling and work increased without putting burden on my pocket.sitting is comfort able both front and rear.
What Can Improve
From safety point of view car is not safe .it requires good driving skill otherwise slightest impact and the car is gone since bumber are plastic and body is very light.no luggage space in CNG , purely city transportation in an air condition autoricshaw .
Since prices of CNG will be increasing cost will come at par with diesel than there is no point in waiting at CNG pumps.
