Don't buy car based on looks - Wagon R or Santro?

If you go through the look, then stay away from bying a car. My experience of driving WagonR is very good when compared to Santro.

WAGOn-R Lxi is the best vehicle for a budget requirement. avergae mileage - 15 Kms in city & 17 kms on highway very less maintainance - 1000/- per every 7500 kms.

Just go for the station Wagon i.e. Wagon-R. Excellent value for money, best in class mileage, easy road side assistance(they generally not required as it is the best built car in its class). Own the Wagon-R, and in less than month you will fall in love with Wgaon-R. No engine sound at all yaar! Also High Resale value as it is not going to stop production at least 3/4 years. As Wagon- Type R is the only station Wagon avail. in india today. Any more Q?

Wagon r is good car but...

Wagon r is good car but is now too old with euro-3 engine. New zen estilo has now new k-series euro-4 engine with very good mileage, new look and shape. Go for it without hesitation.

I am having Wagnor lxi

I am having Wagnor lxi, 2003 model( petrol ), I purchased a new one. Until now I didnt face any major problem with this vehicle. The positive side is (a) Less parking space (b) Good mileage (c) Less maintenance (d) Good pickup e) Long distance driving more comfort. The Only draw back I found is, in rough roads this vehicle is not so good. I think Wagnor will be the right choice for a middle group family, in cost wise and luxury wise.

Had wagon R for last 9 years

Had wagon R for last 9 years. No major problem yet. With respect to santro has better power, same tried on mountain winding roads and found wagon r better. Yes wagon r is more spacious for leg room and aft dicky space is also more. But gears of santro are very smooth, looks of santro is better. no idea of I10 and I20.Never buy wagon r without power steering- it will feel like a truck.

being a wagonr owner, i wud obviously advice for the same. however, budget, and choice matters...maruti is not so good on interiors, hyundai is good interiors, but when it comes to spares/services, maruti wins hands down...hyundai still does not have as many indegenious parts manufacturers...or maybe the snob value - hyundai is a poorer option compared to the maruti. LXi is with power steering, VXI has power steering + power windows -among other not so convincing add-ons...take your own decision.

Go for Wagon R

Go for Wagaon R due to It's performance on long term and short term ( may read it long drives and city drives as well). Very good road grip, Good Air Condition, higher seats.. makes it all.
