I purchased the Maruti Suzuki Zen Estilo 2009 VXi model in early 2010 and would like to share my experience with the vehicle so far. I usually drive the vehicle on daily basis on congested city roads and have to admit that the car has given me least troubles in terms of performance, comfort and safety. However, I do believe that the mileage can be improved a bit.
Based on its 3 cylinder, 68 bhp, petrol engine, I get a optimum city mileage of 14.5 kmpl which can be taken to an favourable number of 18.2 kmpl on highways. With its enhanced engine performance and feasible mileage, I consider my Zen Estilo to be the perfect successor of Maruti Zen in India.
When the car was launched in India, I was expecting that Zen Estilo will have an exterior styling similar to that of its predecessor. However, to my amazement, the exterior structure is completely different and better in comparison to Zen. Moreover, additional features add more style and functionality for the driver.
Talking about comfort and convenience, I believe that the car maker has given special attention to the luxury quotient for rear seated passengers. Along with a standard air-conditioning system, there are several add-on features like front and rear power windows, accessory power outlet, vanity mirror, front and rear cup-holders and rear seat head restraints.
