I am a proud owner of India's first compact car, Maruti 800 AC, for a long time now. My experience with a simple yet functional hatchback has been very fulfilling and problem-free. Although Maruti 800 is not one of the most luxurious compact cars in the market, the user-friendliness and affordability beats all other car from its class. After driving the quaint car for so long, I can safely say that not only does the car offers a decent performance but an impressive fuel economy as well. Powered with a 3 cylinder, 796 cc petrol engine, I get a peak power output of 37 bhp at 5000 rpm and maximum torque of around 59 Nm at 2500 rpm. Moreover, the engine performance is backed up by a fairly decent fuel economy ranging from 14 kmpl on city roads to 17 kmpl on highways. Talking about comfort, the easy to drive car may not be equivalent to other hatchbacks of its class. However, for a common man, Maruti 800 is a best car ever made offering optimum comfort with features like air-conditioning system, reclining and sliding front seats and more. On the whole, if you are looking for a simple, functional compact car without any hassles, then Maruti 800 is an evergreen and reliable option.

a drop down in prices of spares
Indeed, I am the 2nd owner and Car has never let me down. I have travelled long distances safely and whenever I had problem Maruti Dealers have fixed it immediately. I am very happy about my Car

Beautifully designed user friendly, with minimum maintenance, trouble free, more driving comfort, most economic.
What Can Improve
Though the design is good Electrical system some times gives problem, causing breakdown, in new Automobiles it has been replaced by MPFI, but mileage is fixed where as in Carburator vehicle u can tune up to its maximum limit resulting in good mileage
I love my Car all family members call it (Ram pyari)

The parent company, aerodynamic and elegant shape, lowest maintenance in four wheelers, spare parts cheaper than Kinetic Honda spares, easy to repair at any workshop, not getting stucked on long runs due to ease of repair, wide windscreen and rear glass for a clear vision,

At this stage there is nothing to be improved except the availability.
To add to all the qualities the regn. # is 100 ,a very special one and helpful to all citizens in their time of distress.
