Kia Tasman

Model launch date:

The Kia Tasman will initially be launched in South Korea during the first half of 2025 before subsequently being introduced in Australia, Africa, and the Middle East.

Feature list:

The Tasman will be offered with 17- and 18-inch wheel sizes, depending on the variant. Inside, it gets a 12.3-inch, 5-inch, and another 12.3-inch display, and an optional eight-speaker Harmon Kardon audio system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Other features include driver assistance tech, illuminated load bed, sliding cargo floor, and surround view cameras.

Engine, performance, and specifications:

Engine options include a 281bhp, 2.5-litre petrol engine paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission, a 210bhp, 2.2-litre diesel engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and a 2.2-litre diesel engine with a choice of six-speed manual transmissions, depending on the market. AWD will be offered as standard with an automatically engaging rear electronic locking differential.

Variants:

It will be offered in Baseline Double Cab, X-Line Double Cab, X-Pro Double Cab, and X-Pro Double Cab Customized variants.

Safety:

The Kia Tasman has not been tested by an NCAP body until now.

Competition:

Competition for the Kia Tasman includes the Toyota Hilux and the Ford Ranger.
