Hyundai Staria

Model Launch Date:

The Hyundai Staria is expected to be launched in India in mid-2026.

Feature List:

Design highlights of the Staria will include LED DRLs and an LED light bar on top of the fascia, vertically stacked headlamps, large chrome studded grille, sliding rear doors, blacked-out B and C-pillars, vertically positioned LED taillights, and a large glass house for the tailgate. Inside, it could come equipped with dual electric sunroofs, multi-zone climate control, floating touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, ventilated seats, engine start-stop button, and more. Moreover, it will get four rows of seating to accommodate up to 11 occupants.

Engine, Performance, and Specifications:

Powering the Staria MPV will be a 3.5-litre, six-cylinder, petrol engine, paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox. This motor produces 268bhp and 331Nm in the higher state of tune, and 237bhp and 310Nm in the lower state of tune. Also up for offer is a 2.2-litre diesel engine, developing 175bhp and 431Nm, paired with six-speed manual and automatic transmissions.

Variants:

It could be available in two variants, namely Platinum and Signature.

Safety:

The Staria MPV scored a one-star rating in the ANCAP crash test.

Competition:

The new Hyundai Staria will compete against the likes of the Kia Carnival.
