Model Launch Date

The next-generation Hyundai Creta is currently in development and is expected to make its India debut soon.

Feature List

The facelifted Creta will feature a thoroughly revised exterior design with updated bumpers, new lighting elements, and fresh paint options. It is also likely to increase in overall length and wheelbase, enhancing cabin space.

Inside, the SUV is expected to receive a redesigned dashboard, updated seat upholstery, new interior theme, and a revised steering wheel. Feature additions could include curved dual displays similar to those seen on the Venue, a powered boss mode for the co-driver seat, improved boot capacity, flush door handles, and expanded connected car technology.

Engine, Performance, and Specifications

The updated Creta is expected to retain its existing engine options, comprising a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Manual and automatic transmissions will continue to be available. A hybrid powertrain may also be introduced as part of the updated lineup.

Variants

The new Creta is likely to be offered in a range of variants, broadly mirroring the current structure.

Safety

Standard safety equipment is expected to include six airbags, ABS with EBD, three-point seat belts for all passengers, and adjustable headrests for every occupant. Higher variants will continue to offer features such as a 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, blind-spot monitoring, and electronic stability control.

Competition

The Hyundai Creta facelift will compete with the Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Maruti Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate, and other mid-size SUVs in the segment.
