hyundai i10 kappa2..is it really a worth?
the light steering makes i10 very good at steering response(i have been saved many times in delhi's gruelling traffic because of it)..the four cylinders provide ample amount of refinement even when you drive the car at low speeds at higher gear. the placement of gear on the dashboard section may irritate some if u have driven other cars but is actually at a good position as gear changes can be done fast while also you could see in which gear you are driving without much taking your eyes off. the quality of plastics used is good or can be said at par with even suzuki swift(as told by my uncle who drives one). At the back the boot space is enough for two medium sized bags. the instrument cluster is well lit and i like the fact that in the instrument cluster there is a section where it shows which gear you should choose according to your speed so as to maximize fuel efficiency. The ground clearance is pretty high so you dont scratch the underneath of your car in bumpy roads of india. speaking of power it provides 80bhp of power and 111nm of torque which is enough to get you zipping on the road especially highways(have beaten a swift).
What Can Improvei10 needs to improve on its mileage sector as it only gives me 12-14kmpl as compared to what company declares which is 20kmpl. the air conditioning is not that efficient. the inside temperature rises quickly when you switch off ac. even though there is lot amount of torque there is some lag when you are going uphill like getting on a flyover. the transmission also gives some lag while changing gears after sometimes(maybe because of harsh traffic where i live). these are the things which needs to improve to make it more better in indian roads.
