Hyundai Creta Electric

Model launch date:

The Hyundai Creta Electric will be launched in India on 17 January, 2025.

Variants:

The Creta Electric will be available in Smart, Executive, Premium, and Excellence variants.

Feature list:

On the outside, the Creta Electric looks very similar to the Creta N-Line. However, it has some EV-specific elements such as front bumper-mounted active air flaps, 17inch aero alloys, and new exterior shades in gloss and matte finish.

Inside, the cabin of the Creta EV will be equipped with a powered driver seat, panoramic sunroof, dual digital screens, new steering wheel, and Level 2 ADAS.

Battery, powertrain, and specifications:

The Creta EV will be offered in 42kWh and 51.4kWh battery packs with a driving range of 390km and 473km, respectively. It can sprint from zero to 100kmph in 7.9 seconds.

Charging time and range:

The battery of the Creta Electric can be charged up from 10 per cent to 80 per cent using a DC fast charger in 58 minutes. Whereas, it takes four hours to charge it from zero to 100 per cent with a 11kW wallbox charger.

Safety:

While the Creta EV is equipped with six airbags, it has not been crash-tested by any NCAP body yet.

Competition:

Upon launch, the Creta Electric will go up against the Mahindra BE 6, MG ZS EV, BYD Atto 3, and Tata Curvv EV.
