The upcoming Honda CR-V Hybrid is expected to offer a premium cabin with soft-touch materials, large touchscreen with wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, digital instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control, wireless charging, leatherette upholstery, and a panoramic sunroof in higher variants. Exterior features will include full-LED lighting, new alloy wheels, powered tailgate, and dual-tone colour options. The SUV will be a five-seater model with multiple colour choices.

Engine, Performance, and Specifications

The India-spec CR-V Hybrid is likely to use Honda’s 2.0-litre e:HEV powertrain delivering around 200bhp combined. Paired with an e-CVT, it will prioritise smooth, efficient performance suited for both city and highway driving. Front-wheel drive is expected as standard, with AWD possibly offered on the top variant.

Variants

Honda may introduce a couple of variants, with the top trims offering premium features, ADAS, leatherette upholstery, and the hybrid powertrain as standard.

Safety

Expected safety equipment includes six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, hill-start assist, ISOFIX mounts, and Honda Sensing ADAS with features like adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist.

Competition

In India, the CR-V Hybrid will rival the Hyundai Tucson, MG Hector, Tata Harrier, and the Mahindra XUV700.
