Nissan Motor India introduced its third new dealership in Maharashtra

The Indian subsidiary of Japanese car maker, Nissan Motor opened the doors of its new dealership in suburbs of Mumbai, namely Torrent Nissan. Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of Hover Automotive India, G.M. Singh did the honours of cutting the ribbon of the new showroom. Torrent Nissan happens to be a well laid out distribution facility, which is spread in an area of 480 square metres.

Speaking at the ceremony, Singh quoted, “With newer models which are slated for launch this year, we are gearing up for wider sales and mass support to all our customers who believe in Nissan's innovation and excitement philosophy.”

Echoing the sentiments, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Nissan Motor India Private Limited, Takayuki Ishida, said, “Mumbai is growing in terms of its sheer market size and user base. It is a perfect market which demands innovation with value for money services and we are glad to be expanding our presence in this commercial capital of the country.”

Showing confidence in the Japanese car marque, Dealership Promoter, Torrent Nissan, Jatinder Singh Chadha, expressed, “Nissan is one of the few OEMs who has set global benchmarks and created new standards in its products and service quality. This makes Torrent Nissan proud to be a part of this innovation enriched brand.”

Nissan Motor has shook hands with Hover Automotive India (HAI), appointing the latter as its national sales company in the country. This move from the car maker is an attempt to enhance its dealership network pan India through which it can generate decent volumes. HAI serves as the service partner to Nissan for marketing, sales, after sales services and dealer development in the country.

As of now the car maker has maintained a strong dealership network of 68 facilities. The latest introduction, Torrent Nissan is the third in the state of Maharashtra with previous two being located in Worli and Navi Mumbai.
