Nissan celebrates 45 years with 2016 Gold Edition GT-R

The GT-R trim has been representing the Nissan brand strongly in the American market. This time around the Japanese automaker Nissan has planned to celebrate 45 years of success with the limited trims of about 2016 Gold Edition GT-R trims. Only about 30 units of the limited edition priced shall cost an additional $1,000 on top of the Premium's starting $101,770, plus a destination charge of $1,595 on all vehicles.

Apart from this the company has also launched the 2016 GT-R Premium and GT-R Black Edition with minor cosmetic and technical upgrades. As part of fresh upgrades, the GT-R Premium and GT-R Black Edition gets an additional five horsepower, whereas the premium trim gets all-new 20-spoke wheels. Along with other features, the GT-R special edition gets a special exterior paint.

GT-R's interior features a nice balance between functionality with a sense of ease and comfort. It features sculpted performance bucket seats that offers optimal driving position. The redone cockpit-style instrument panel with a large center-mounted tachometer and multi-function display provides complete mechanical and driving information, along with an on-board driving recorder. The vehicle sports specially designed 11-speaker Bose sound system with speakers that are mounted in rigid aluminum die cast panels. The system also includes a Bose Active Noise Cancellation system (not applied to GT-R NISMO) tuned to reduce engine booming sounds. The RearView Monitor is provided as a standard feature across all models.
