Mahindra Reva Electric Vehicles Pvt, Ltd. has doled out yet another lucrative ownership scheme for its electric vehicle e2o. Under the scheme called ‘Goodbye Fuel, Hello Electric’, customers will have to pay only Rs 4.99 lakh for the automatic electric vehicle. This saves on the money paid for battery initially, as buyers can pay a monthly amount of Rs 2,599 called ‘monthly energy fee’, allowing customers to drive the car for 800 kms in a month and around 50,000 kms in five years. Under this scheme the customer will pay only for the distance covered, segregating initial acquisition cost and usage cost of the vehicle.
