This car was launched in India back in 2011 with aggressive pricing and detailing. It is powered by an 814 cc petrol engine that is mated to a five speed manual gearbox. The maximum power output produced by this petrol engine is 55.2 bhp and peak torque is around 74.5 Nm. Furthermore, the vehicle's performance is boosted with iRDE Technology and Motor Driven Power Steering (MDPS). LPG variants of Eon are also available in the market for buyers.

Eon boasts of a decent city and highway mileage. As per company claims, this hatchback can deliver a fuel efficiency of up to 21.1 kmpl. This car boasts of a wave front design with smooth long curves, a prominent wheel arch and wider lip. Sloping window lines with a swaying roof further enhance the appeal of this vehicle. The jewel-finish rear combination lamps merge well with a pleasant design on the back door. Petal shaped headlamps, stylish grille and bumper are highlights of the front façade.

Interiors look fresh and spacious and are available in either brown or grey options. Extra head and shoulder room at the front and extra legroom at the back improve comfort levels while driving this hatchback.
