Hindustan Motors has launched the stylish and sophisticated all new Mitsubishi Outlander 2012. The cost of the upgraded SUV is around Rs. 20.55 lacs ex-showroom Delhi.

The all new Outlander is fitted with a 2.4-litre engine that delivers maximum power of 170 PS and peak torque of 226 Nm, making the SUV perfect for both on-road and off-road driving. The latest version features smart specifications, including keyless operating systems, cruise control, row seating with tumble function and split tail gate paddle shifters. It has a high-end Rockford Fosgate premium 710 watt music system with 6 CD changer and USB port.

In order to augment the style and luxury quotient of the interior, it has been incorporated with a high contrast meter combination, leather upholstery and 3-spoke leather wrapped steering wheel with audio controls. The upgraded SUV has HID headlamps with AFS and a jet fighter type front grill that perfectly blends with the appealing look of the vehicle. Keeping in perspective the safety of the passengers, ABS and EBD along with RISE (Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution) body and dual frontal airbags have been incorporated in the SUV. Another highlight of the new SUV is the two additional rear seats, particularly for children, which makes Outlander the perfect family vehicle.

The precursor of the SUV was launched by HM about two years ago, in 2010. The all new Outlander, like other products of Hindustan Motors, perfectly reflects company’s commitment to core values of quality, safety, environmental care and holistic customer orientation. A flagship venture of the multi-billion dollar CK Birla Group, Hindustan Motors Limited aims to further strengthen its position in the Indian automobile market with the launch of the upgraded SUV.
