The Head of Audi India, Joe King told TOI, “Audi has emerged as a winning brand by closing the year on a record-making note... we look forward to continue our performance in 2014.” Reportedly, RS 7 will come equipped with the most powerful engine of Audi and is expected to make its debut in January 2014. Expressing his views on the same, King said, “At 560 bhp, this is even more powerful than the R8 sports car and is sure to get the pulses racing.”

Interestingly, RS 7 will be a niche model for the company and will be targeted at super-rich section of society. On the other hand, A3 will be an entry level premium sedan from the company, which will be targeted to mass buyers. The upcoming sedan is expected to make its foray at the Auto Expo 2014, which is anticipated to be priced somewhere around Rs. 25 lakh.
