Maruti Suzuki has launched the new 2013 Grand Vitara with a number of changes that gives this SUV a refreshed look. The new Grand Vitara comes with new styling, new infotainment section, new seat fabric and a better 1.9 litre DDiS diesel engine with low emission. The grille has been facelifted and the bumper has received an angular treatment and the fog lamps too have been revamped. The 5-door SZ5 trim has even been given black headlight accents with an option of stylishly designed 17 or 18 inch alloy wheels. The spare tyre mounted on the rear of the five door models increases its length by 200mm and that of 3-door ones by 170mm. All these changes have made the 2013 Grand Vitara an appealing SUV.

Apart from its exteriors, the SZ3 and SZ4 models come with new seats and the high-end SZ5 has been provided with 6.1 inch touchscreen Garmin system. So far as the powertrain is concerned, the all new Vitara offers choice between 1.6 litre and 2.4 litre petrol engine. The 1.9 litre diesel engine housed in the 5 door trim delivers an improved fuel efficiency of 15.15 kmpl, as against 14.69 kmpl in the earlier version.
