After leaving an unfading impression with the 2012 Bentley Continental GTC Convertible at the International Automobile Exhibition in Frankfurt, the British-based automobile manufacturer is ready once again. The company has geared up to showcase the 2012 Continental GTC Convertible, for the first time, at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show in North America

Bentley Motors' Member of the Board for Sales and Marketing, Alasdair Stewart said, “Los Angeles is the ideal location for Bentley to launch the luxurious and powerful GTC convertible. Southern California remains the most successful market for Bentley in the US, and the US remains the largest market in the world for the Company.”

Concluding the statement, Stewart said, “New model introductions, such as the GTC convertible – which will reach US customers later this year – and the new GT coupe – which went on sale in the spring – have helped Bentley global sales grow by a third in 2011.”

The 2012 Bentley Continental GTC Convertible is packed with a revised 6-litre, twin-turbocharged W12 engine which is combined with a new QuickShift transmission. Based on the powerful engine, the expected maximum power goes up to 575 bhp, as against 560 bhp earlier.

Along with a powerful and advanced engine, the four-seater Convertible is expected to touch the 100 kmph figure in just 4.8 seconds. Furthermore, the new Convertible reportedly manages to gain a maximum speed of 314 kmph.

Keeping the classic Bentley essence intact, the interior of the luxury Convertible has a high quality wood and leather craftsmanship. In addition to the classy looks, the cabin has best-in-class advanced technology with features like an 8-inch touch screen infotainment system and zip code entry navigation system.

The company has developed a complete package with the 2012 Bentley Continental GTC Convertible that holds all the aces in terms of engine performance, luxury, comfort and advanced technology.

Therefore, the high-profile unveiling of the 2012 Bentley Continental GTC Convertible will open up new avenues for the British luxury automaker, especially in the North American automobile market.
