  Hydraulic steering should be changed to electronic Back seating comfort and leg space

  What Can Improve

  BMW comes with pirelli tyre which can burst any time on road.Spare tyre can run for 100 kms. Customer are left stranded on road.Car has to be towed to nearest service location on crane ones the Tyre fail.There service centers are 300-600 kms apart .If tyre fails have you ever heard the car being towed 600 kms to nearest center leaving you stranded instead of providing replacement tyre even in warranty.Ones they sell cars they will care a damn for your issues and problems.BMW will never call you and never take feedback from you.It is one of the most hostile and unfriendly company.The jack which comes with spare tyre(small tyre which can run for 80 kms at speed of 60) is too cumbersome to operate.WHY IS BMW not giving car with FULL TYRE. We have tried asking this question to BMW and there reply is no we sell car with spare tyre which can run 80 kms and this is a additional facility we are providing.If you want to buy full tyre u have to spend Rs 70000/- extra

  x1 is a killer, u cant compare fortuner and x1, and also better things come at little expensive price. x1 may be lil expensiv thn fortuner, but features wise it kills fortuner, i wud go for x1 anytym

  If you want to buy a BMW car but confused about which one to buy, then consider BMW X1. The car is one the best manufactured model from BMW that provides not only enviable good looks but also a favourable fuel efficiency. However, the engine can be a bit noisy and gear shifting may not be very smooth. The car can give a decent mileage of about 13 km per litre on highways and 11 km per litre on city roads. This SUV is perfectly constructed making it neither too big nor too small. This car would be a perfect choice for a urban large family, who require big cars to travel but look for compact SUVs. BMW X1 is a perfect example of a compact SUV. Coming to the comfort and convenience quotient of this vehicle, it is one of the best among competition like Skoda, Innova and Captiva. The car has a HiFi audio system that makes you feel like you are sitting in a concert hall. Along with that, the cabin has a automatic air-conditioner with climate control system, comfortable and spacious seating and abundant luggage room. In summary, the best feature is excellent ride quality and handling and areas on which the car can be improved is engine noise and smooth gear transition.

  I just buy this suv (july2011) For 28 lacs from chandigarh Engine is noisy but its superb Evrything is better thn fortuner or santa fe Milge is 11-12. Top speed 180-200 tyre 17 inch but low graund clearnce (not like suv) 0 to 100 in few scnds But totaly paisa vasuuuuuulllllll vd great looking Slim trim cute sexy i like it Ravinder 9068500000

  A year ago when I first saw the compact sports utility vehicle, BMW X1, I immediately purchased this superb crossover in sDrive20d version and in a suave grey colour. I have spent a year driving this superior crossover and have to admit that the vehicle still manages to impress me every single time. BMW X1 offers a perfect balance between comfort and performance, which is one of the major reasons I was interested in buying the compact SUV. Judging the vehicle on its engine, I am quite happy with the 1995 cc Common Rail Direct Injection diesel engine which churns maximum power of 177 bhp and peak torque of 350 Nm. No amount of words will be accurate to describe the level of comfort the cabin of BMW X1 has to offer. Owing to a super luxurious and functional cabin, long distance journeys become very easy and comfortable. A well-spaced cabin especially for rear seated passengers is one of the best selling facets about the car. The rear seat features I can make most use of include a high definition audio system with CD/DVD player, radio, front and rear speakers and a remote control. In addition, a fully functional air-conditioning system with heater forms a part of standard comfort feature of the vehicle.
