About BMW M4 [2018-2019]
Summary
In February 2022, BMW launched the second-generation M4 Competition in India. The two-door coupe is a high-performance version based on the all-new 4 Series Gran Coupe. What’s more, it achieves zero to 100kmph in a staggering 3.5 seconds.
Exterior
BMW designers have made a radical change to the exterior of the M4 Competition which comes in the form of the tallest-ever kidney grille. There are also newly designed headlights, bumpers, rear lights, and alloys. Apart from that, the India-spec model gets high-tech BMW Laser Light, M xDrive all-wheel drive, active M differential, and adaptive M suspension.
Interior
BMW offers premium Merino leather upholstery in an all-black scheme with the India-spec M4 Competition. Further, the interior adorns carbon fibre trim. Other features include a 12.3-inch fully-digital driver display, a 10.25-inch central information touchscreen, three-zone temperature control, a head-up display, a parking and reversing assistant, a wireless charging pad, and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon surround sound system.
Engine and transmission
The M4 Competition comes with a 2,993cc inline six-cylinder twin-turbo petrol engine coupled with an eight-speed M Steptronic automatic gearbox. This motor makes 503bhp and 650Nm.
